Diane Hauslein

Chief Administrative Officer

Diane Hauslein was present at the creation of West Wing Writers — helping the founding partners establish their Washington, DC headquarters in 2002. In 2019, she returned to the firm as its Chief Administrative Officer.

Diane came to West Wing Writers after 16 years as Chief Administrative Officer for the Nuclear Threat Initiative, an NGO co-chaired by Ted Turner and former Senator Sam Nunn, whose mission is to reduce the threat of weapons of mass destruction.

Prior to NTI, she had a successful tenure in the field of legal management, where her portfolio as a Legal Administrator included finance, human resources, IT, operations/facilities, and event planning at three boutique law firms in Washington, DC.

Throughout her career, she also provided part-time consulting services to “start-up” organizations including Hall & Associates LLC, the transportation safety firm formed by the former Chairman of the NTSB, James Hall, after he retired from government service, and Bono’s DATA (now ONE) organization.

Diane is an Associate member of the Association of Legal Administrators and a member of the Society of Human Resource Management. She graduated from Purdue University with a B.S. in Biological Sciences.
