Chandler Dean cut his teeth in comedy working with writers from Full Frontal with Samantha Bee, Late Night with Seth Meyers, and The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.

At West Wing Writers, Chandler has written for celebrities, media personalities, and high-profile politicians. He has collaborated with a well-known producer on a memoir, and has written on topics ranging from electoral politics to international diplomacy.

Chandler also helps lead West Wing Writers’ humor practice, writing jokes, satire, toasts, and roasts for a variety of clients — and co-hosts “SpeakEasy,” West Wing’s bimonthly evening of speechwriting comedy.

Outside of work hours, Chandler has had pieces published in The New Yorker, McSweeney’s, and Reductress, and he performs live comedy around New York City. His online content has garnered millions of views across YouTube and Twitter, and has been featured in The New York Times and TIME Magazine.

Chandler graduated from Fordham University at Lincoln Center with a bachelor’s degree in political science and film and television. He currently lives in Brooklyn, and is happy to talk to you at length about the L train.
