Veronica Bryant Bean

As a U.S. Army Public Affairs Officer, Veronica advised senior military leaders on communications, fought disinformation campaigns, and discovered she could write a speech from anywhereincluding the back of a UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter. 

Now at West Wing Writers, Veronica helps politicians, television personalities, business leaders, and activists fight for their own causes.

Veronica graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point with a B.S. in English. While there, she served as the captain of the policy debate team, served as a Veteran Policy Fellow for the National Alliance to End Homelessness, and participated in the Bard Prison Initiative debate series. Veronica is originally from Alexandria, Virginia, and now lives with her husband in Cambridge, Massachusetts, where you can find her cooking through Marcella Hazan’s Essentials of Classic Italian Cooking, learning to play tennis, and watching too many procedural television shows.
