Before joining West Wing Writers, M.E. led digital content strategy for top nonprofits and Democratic candidates, raising millions of dollars online.

As Editorial Director at Anne Lewis Strategies, M.E. captured the voices of physicians, gun violence survivors, and global humanitarians. She helped organizations articulate their core message and stand out in crowded inboxes.

Prior to her time with Anne Lewis, M.E. advocated for feminist change at the National Organization for Women. That experience informs her work at West Wing Writers, where she writes with an eye toward equity and inclusion.

M.E. graduated magna cum laude from Hamilton College, where she studied environmental policy and comparative literature. Her honors thesis analyzed President Obama’s climate change rhetoric in his State of the Union addresses.
