Disruption Books

Jennifer knows the need to share knowledge, experience, and skill with others can feel bone deep and fundamental to who we are. She draws on training in writing, psychology, and publishing to guide authors through their journey with Disruption Books.

Jennifer’s first job out of college was editing transcribed talks by a Tibetan Buddhist teacher into a book. She fell in love with the work and pursued a master’s degree in publishing. As a literary agent, she supported authors like Stephen Covey, Maria Shriver, and Dr. Phil, as well as a diverse list of clients. Later, at the American Management Association (AMA), Jennifer edited books that support professional life. In Sounds True’s book department, she collaborated with spiritual luminaries like Ram Dass, Joseph Goldstein, Pema Chödrön, and Sandra Ingerman.

Before joining Disruption Books, Jennifer worked at New Harbinger Publications, where she edited evidence-based content from psychologists like Lindsay Gibson and Rheeda Walker, as well as titles by spiritual teachers like Michael Singer.

As an editor and publishing guide who believes books are essential to creating environments we can thrive within, Jennifer helps authors’ messages truly reach readers so that they become vital to personal insight and ongoing cultural conversation.

Jennifer loves walking her dogs in the gardens of her small Midwestern town, slowly restoring an antique house and nine typewriters (and counting!), researching the nineteenth century for her novels, and playing on words with her partner, Matt.
