Kate Childs Graham and Annie Farber Join Jonas Kieffer, Vinca LaFleur, Paul Orzulak, Jeff Shesol, and Ben Yarrow as Executive Directors

WASHINGTON, DC – Today, West Wing Writers announced that its employees are now the owners of the firm, which specializes in strategic communications, messaging, and speechwriting—helping clients shape, share, and amplify their stories.

The transfer of ownership reflects the company’s people-centered values and culture—and will enhance the team-driven, outcome-oriented approach it brings to its portfolio of clients in business, philanthropy, politics, arts and entertainment, and sports. With the launch of its Employee Stock Ownership Plan, one of just 6,500 nationwide, every full-time employee of West Wing Writers has become a shareholder of the company.

“Over the past two decades, West Wing Writers has grown from three to nearly 50 people. Our impact has grown even more significantly. Every employee here contributes to the successful work we do with our clients—and now every employee will share in that success,” said Jeff Shesol, one of the firm’s founders and Executive Directors.

Kate Childs Graham and Annie Farber join Jonas Kieffer, Vinca LaFleur, Paul Orzulak, Jeff Shesol, and Ben Yarrow as Executive Directors. Childs Graham, who anchors West Wing Writers’ political practice, rejoined the firm last year after serving in the White House as Director of Speechwriting for Vice President Kamala Harris. Farber, a seasoned communications strategist and creator of award-winning political ads, has advised CEOs, policymakers, and non-profit leaders during her long tenure at the firm.

“Kate and Annie are West Wing Writers, present and future. We are so grateful that they are joining the firm’s leadership at this critical moment,” said Vinca LaFleur, an Executive Director and the firm’s Chief Operating Officer.

Today, West Wing Writers has also unveiled a new website and logo, marking the firm’s next chapter.
