Our Internship
Program

Maybe you’ve got an ear for rhythm, an eye for detail, and a stomach for revision. Maybe you’ve read an op-ed, looked at a product, or been mesmerized by a keynote and wondered how people tell stories that stick.

Background

West Wing Writers offers full-time, paid internships to a select few candidates who want to learn more about strategic writing and communications.

West Wing interns are an integral part of our team—contributing to the creative process, attending seminars, and receiving feedback from mentors.

Requirements

Industry experience isn’t required, but here’s what is:

• Extensive research experience
• Excellent written and oral communications skills
• Demonstrated interest in writing and communications
• Authorized to work and accept new employment in the U.S.

The internship is only open to rising college seniors, college seniors, and college graduates. This full-time position pays $3,300 (pre-tax) each month. Work is remote, though interns must be in the contiguous United States and are encouraged to use our offices in New York City and Washington, DC.
