With more than two decades of experience in government, corporate, and non-profit roles, Caleb helps leaders articulate their visions by translating complex concepts into messages that resonate.
As a communications director and speechwriter in the U.S. Senate, Caleb managed all aspects of press outreach, rapid response, social media campaigns, and content creation. Over several years, he led the composition and production of a speech series on the science and politics of climate change that totaled more than 225 speeches on the Senate Floor. The Washington Post described the speeches Caleb wrote as “deeply researched and beautifully crafted.”
Caleb later joined CVS Health to develop communications and visibility strategy for the company’s CEO. Not long after, CVS mounted its massive response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Throughout the crisis, Caleb crafted key external and internal messages from the CEO and other C-suite executives to customers, investors, and the company’s 300,000 employees.
At other points in his career, Caleb has been on the front lines of gubernatorial, senate, and presidential campaigns. He has also advocated for economic, civic, and civil rights policy at the White House and Congress.
Caleb holds a bachelor’s degree in sociology from Harvard University. A member of the West Wing Writers Washington, DC office, he lives just outside the District of Columbia with his wife Kelly — a political consultant — and their two boys.
