Tania spent her formative years in and around Chicago's Grant Park, learning the power of artfully crafted speech while braving Windy City winters, as she listened to everyone from Barack Obama to local spoken word artists convey their stories.
She adopted Washington, DC, as her second home when she joined David Axelrod's firm, ASGK Public Strategies, to implement communications campaigns across a variety of industries through research, media relations, and message development. While at ASGK, Tania managed press for her clients, writing and placing opinion pieces and letters to the editor in local and Washington, DC, outlets, including Politico, National Journal, and the Chicago Tribune. Prior to her work at ASGK, Tania interned in the Obama for America campaign’s Chicago headquarters.
Tania is a proud graduate of DePaul University, where she studied international studies and economics, while effectively minoring in rock climbing. Tania was actively involved in Chicago's Ukrainian community and in political life on campus, traveling frequently to present her thesis at conferences across the country.
