As a community organizer, Brooke learned to use compelling narratives to move politicians and power brokers to action. Now, she brings that same talent for creative storytelling to West Wing Writers.
Brooke graduated Phi Beta Kappa and summa cum laude with a degree in Peace, War, and Defense from UNC Chapel Hill. While in college, her interest in foreign policy led her to J Street U, a student movement advocating for an end to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. In her senior year, she was elected President of the National Board.
In addition to her work with J Street U, Brooke conducted research for the UNC Political Science department and U.S. Foreign Service, traveled to Rome to study life drawing, and volunteered on an elephant preserve in rural Thailand. As a recipient of the Julian Robertson Scholarship, Brooke also attended Duke University, where she learned that the Tar Heels are still the best team in college basketball.
A North Carolina native, Brooke now lives in Washington, DC.
